Mehar Boutique was founded on a simple belief: that the centuries-old craft of Pakistani embroidery deserves a home in America's most important celebrations.

Every Mehar Boutique piece begins in Lahore, where our family has worked with the same network of master artisans for three generations. Zardozi metal-thread work, delicate mukaish, and dabka embroidery are done entirely by hand — techniques passed from teacher to apprentice, unchanged since the Mughal courts that first refined them.

We founded Mehar Boutique to close the distance between that atelier and the American closet — so a bride in Houston, a mother in San Francisco, or a groom in New Jersey can wear the same quality once reserved for Lahore's most exclusive weddings.

Each garment takes upward of 200 hours to complete. We work in small batches, pay our artisans fairly above local trade rates, and source only silks, velvets and organzas from mills we've partnered with for over a decade.
